Meet the

KEIKI COMMITTEE

While Inspire the Keiki Foundation is managed by an adult Board of Directors, the day-to-day administration of the Foundation is the responsibility of the Keiki Committee. Each Keiki Committee member also acts as Chairperson for a sub-committee comprised of other keiki appointed by the Committee.

Cassidy Kawashima

Co-Founder and Co-Chair

I have attended Punahou School since kindergarten. In my free time I like to hang out with friends, play sports, and eat! I have played 6 sports, soccer, tennis, street dance, golf, softball, and on some weekends beach volleyball. I have played for Leahi Soccer Club, Punahou Junior Tennis, and Bad Girlz softball clubs and on the Punahou intermediate and JV tennis teams. I was also part of Girl Scout Troop 638 and currently participate in JROTC.

Rae Kamikawa

Former Treasurer and Current Co-Chair

I am a freshman at Punahou School, where I have played on the school’s soccer and golf team. Outside of school, I am a member of Leahi Soccer Club as part of the 04 team. For golf, I participate in Casey Nakama tournaments monthly. In my free time, you will always find me outdoors. From surfing to hiking, I love being in the sun. I have continuously found a joy in school and learning new things, especially when it comes to traveling to different places.

Sophia Woofter

Former Co-Secretary and Current Co-Vice Chair

I have attended Punahou since 6th grade. I participate in student government as the treasurer for the freshman class. I played on the intermediate and JV tennis team at Punahou and enjoy listening to a wide range of music, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and new puppy.

Payton Inabata

I am a 9th grader at Punahou School. I play soccer for Leahi Soccer Club and enjoy surfing on weekends at Waikiki beach. I also enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, and hanging out with friends and family in my free time.

Kaitlyn Awaya

Former Co-Vice Chair and Current Treasurer

I am currently a freshman at Punahou School, where I am involved with JROTC and the yearbook committee. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, swimming, spending time with family and friends, and writing.

Kaitlyn Miyasato

I have attended Punahou School since 4th grade. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and softball. I play for Hawai’i Storm Basketball and Hurricanes Softball. I also love going to the beach and spending time outdoors with my friends and family.

Mia Hashimoto

Former Co-Vice Chair and Current Co-Secretary

I am entering my freshman year at Punahou School. I keep very busy outside of school with playing soccer for Leahi SC and softball for 808 Impact, which has allowed me to travel to different states and countries, learn many valuable life lessons, and make lifelong connections and friendships that are priceless. Through my hectic schedule, staying balanced is key, and spending quality time with family and friends, and God helps keep me centered and happy. I also love to try new foods, go to the beach, and watch my many favorite series on Netflix.
